Free Webinar on the ACT-CCS programme Call 2020

PNO invites you to the webinar “ACT-CCS 2020 an opportunity for energy projects” Which will be held the 5th of June, at 10.00.

The free webinar, organized in collaboration with the Research Council of Norway (RCN), will provide an overview the open ACT3 call 2020 which was launched 2nd of June 2020

Speakers of the webinar will be:

  • Aage Stangeland (RCN, ACT CCS coordinating authority), Project Manager
  • Andrea Rausa (PNO), senior consultant specialized in energy and CCS projects.

Relevant information on the ACT-CSS programme, as well as tips and tricks to elaborate a successful proposal will be shared with attendees from all over Europe.

ACT (Accelerating CCS Technologies) main features

ACT - Accelerating CCS Technologies is an ERANET Cofund established by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 programme for research and innovation to accelerate the deployment of CO2 capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) in the energy sector and in energy intensive Industries. Projects funded in previous calls covered a wide range of topics including storage, fracture networks, leakage, risk assessment, CO2 injection and monitoring systems.

Eligible Member States Alberta (Canada), Denmark, Germany, Greece, France, the Netherlands, the Nordic Countries (through Nordic Energy Research), Norway, Romania, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, USA
Average Project Budget To be decided. Typical projects in previous ACT calls are funded by 1 to 10 million euros from ACT
Eligible partners in a consortium Universities, companies, industry, local/regional governments, research organisations and NGOs
Project Duration Typical 3 years
